2026 - A YEAR FOR REST AND CREATIVITY

HAPPY START TO 2026, friends and readers!

As we step into the “freshness” of another start to the Gregorian calendar year, I really feel the Lord’s heart beating for the CREATIVES in this new season.

I don’t mean just the painters and potters and dancers and craftsmen. I mean anyone who feels the call to creatively BUILD something redemptive for the Kingdom in 2026. Anyone who uses a spirit of heavenly creativity to produce “on earth as it is in heaven” is who the Lord is highlighting right now.

And yes, most definitely this does refer to artists and creators as well.

I am convinced that 2026 will be a year of Creativity. A year that the Lord begins to show redemption of the arts/entertainment mountain. A year of creative groups and guilds and prophetic artists coming together not just to create, but to RESTORE the arts and to bring glory to The Creator in the foundational ways they dream and fellowship together. This "creativity" is for the creative entrepreneurs and kingdom builders as well! The creative spirit of The Creator is hovering and looking for places to land. He is looking for dry bones to put glory skin on. He is breathing LIFE into every part of you that He has designed to fashion, craft, produce, demonstrate or make. It's all for redemption, glory and His legacy!

"Everything you have made will praise you, fulfilling its purpose. And all your godly ones will be found bowing before you. They will tell the world of the lavish splendor of your kingdom and preach about your limitless power. They will demonstrate for all to see your miracles of might and reveal the glorious majesty of your kingdom." - Psalm 145:10-12 TPT

Because I feel this SO STRONGLY, I am going to be offering a number of options to equip people who feel this urge to produce or “create” this year. As a creative myself (writer, photographer, painter, actor) I am feeling the URGENCY in my spirit to mentor and equip other Christians who feel the Holy Spirit’s tug into producing, creating and building with Heaven’s blueprints.

As a published author with a degree in creative writing, I’m starting here, with the writers. My focus is not necessarily skill or helping people find ways to publish their writings (though stewardship of skills and getting your voice out there is important to me). The Lord said that my MAIN FOCUS needs to be teaching people to steward their core messages as they write from Heavenly realms. Finding your message and then tapping into Heaven to write (instead of power sourcing from emotion or the head) is imperative if we are going to make a difference and up our game as Jesus-loving writers (of all genres).

KEEP CREATING. KEEP PRODUCING. KEEP AT THE FEET OF JESUS. Our consecration this year looks like rest, and rest is found at His feet and obedience to His call.
